Top 100 Golf Courses for 2024/2025
Golf Magazine’s annual Top 100 Golf Courses list is out, sparking plenty of debate!
I’ve only played two on the list—Pinehurst #2 and Harbor Town—so I can’t weigh in much, except to say Augusta is my #1 and always will be.
Golf Magazines Top 5 Courses:
Pine Valley, NJ
Cypress Point, CA
Shinnecock Hills, NY
NGLA, NY
Oakmont, PA
Interesting to note: four of the top five are Northeast courses in NJ, NY, or PA.
How many have you played?
Comment at the end of this post with your number and any picks you think deserve the #1 spot!
🐦 Tweets of the Week 🐦
Caitlin Clark was paired with Nelly Korda at the Annika Pro-Am at Pelican Golf Club. Despite a tee shot that veered into the crowd, her swing looked impressive!

Luke Kerr-Dineen (aka LKD) has been producing stellar golf content. The video above explains why Scottie is so dominant and how his course management can help you pick better targets.
Another LKD video. This one studies Hogans's famous swing and “the secret” he employed.
I remember reading Hogan’s 5 Lessons and going down some paths that hurt my game.
🔢 Stat(s) of the Week 🔢
This is an incredible stat—a five-handicap player typically shoots in the high 70s to low 80s. It highlights just how skilled these players are.
