Golf Update
I don’t have much to update, but I wanted to jot down some thoughts on my game.
I’ve played a decent amount in the last two weeks, with some good and some okay rounds. I had a 9-hole 36 with two birdies and an eagle! On Saturday, I played in a tournament, where I shot an 85 with multiple double bogeys.
Overall, it’s been a mixed bag and a far cry from where I was last year.
On the upside, my driver issues are mostly behind me. My putting has been on fire, and I’m happy with my short game and bunker play. All three consistently show up well on stats gained data.
This leaves my approach shots…
Both anecdotally and statistically, my approach game is lagging the most. And I believe it’s primarily due to my swing and strike quality. As was the case for my driver, I’ll be hitting up Curtis Hughes for a lesson and working on cleaning up my irons.
