If you didn't read this one I highly recommend skimming it. I think Bryson is spot on with this quote:
“It’s not about what you CAN DO; it’s about HOW MANY can you do?”
Golf is Addicting w/ Sauce Gardner
Jets Pro Bowl cornerback Sauce Gardner is taking over Golf Twitter with his newfound addiction to golf.
Golfers worldwide, including PGA Tour pros and top-notch golf coaches, are offering Sauce their advice and even full-on lessons. Sauce has already started to adopt some of this advice and improve at impressive rates.
It’s cool to see a new golfer (especially a pro athlete of another sport) discover how addictive and challenging golf is. I’m rooting for Sauce and hope he continues to improve.
Welcome to golf, and good luck, Sauce!

🐦 Tweets of the Week 🐦
Wise words from Dr. Bob. As always, it’s harder said than done, but it's always a good reminder for your mental game.
I’ve been having some issues with my driver setup, and this video from Clay Ballard helped me. It’s about 8 minutes long, and Clay goes into a proper setup, turn, release, and more. Good watch!
📺 💻 T2C Media 📺 💻
Last week’s deep dive focused on a clip from Bryson Dechambeau discussing the importance of the ability to repeat a shot or motion.
In this video (31 minutes long), Bryson talks about how he rarely plays golf outside of tournaments, his focus on repeating motions, why he hits mostly draws, and more.
Bryson is a unique guy. I don’t know that everything he does is for everyone, but due to his willingness to try unconventional things, he might also stumble on useful methods that aren’t currently in vogue. Worth the watch!
This video from Padraig Harrington focuses on movement and rhythm in the golf swing. Most of Paddy’s instruction is done without a ball and focuses on being athletic or natural with the golf swing.
I’ve been trying to focus on being more athletic, and it’s definitely helped.
🔢 Stat(s) of the Week 🔢
I like the way Jamie laid this out.
The 50/50 putting rule:
Basically, it’s the distance at which you have a 50% chance of making a putt based on your handicap.
You’re a 10 handicap? Then you have a 50% chance of making it from 5 feet.
Remember this rule on the course before you get mad that you missed an “easy 8-footer”.
Thank You
